    Wave Awards

The Clearwater COG loves to recognize and show appreciation to those people making a positive impact throughout the COG counties. The COG created the Clearwater Wave Awards as a way to recognize and show appreciation for the amazing work our COG members do every day to enhance the lives of others: individuals, families, co-workers, community members, etc.

Letting someone know you appreciate them is perhaps the simplest way to make them feel recognized for who they are as a human being – their strengths, their individuality, and their contribution.  Employee recognition leads to confidence, trust, and serves as a wonderful motivator. Giving a daily dose of recognition to someone feels great on the receiving end. Guess what? It feels great to give it too. Try it out for yourself and nominate someone for a Clearwater COG Wave Award!

The COG accepts Wave Award Nominations on an ongoing basis throughout the year and every nominee is recognized with a certificate. The following is the list of award categories. Please do not limit yourself to only those examples when nominating someone!
