Now Open: SSA Basics ONLINE
The Clearwater COG is excited to announce that we will be holding SSA Basics in a virtual format. This is our first go around and we wanted to extend an invitation to County Boards in our region. Please forgive the short notice as the sessions start next week. No worries though, the sessions will be recorded so if you are purchasing the entire series and missed sessions will be available. Likewise, should assistance be needed, our Program Developer, Austin Tuttle, will be available to help your participant through the material.
CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE COURSE LIST AND REGISTRATION
Details: The courses will be $50 a piece, but if you’d like to have people attend all 8 sessions, the cost will be $250. For that option, have the attendees enter the access code HCB163905 to get the full discount.
If you have people unfamiliar with our website, Austin is more than happy to walk them through the registration process. He can be reached at atutle@clearwatercog.org or (419)689-3693.
Each person that registers will be sent the Zoom meeting information the day before. Each session is 2 hours long, with 2 CEUs issued from the COG. Attendees will also be given assignments to round out their knowledge that will also qualify for additional CEUs. Just like with the in-person classes, each session will feature some of the COG’s subject matter experts talking about their specialty. This allows us to bring in more staff that previously haven’t had the time to travel to in-person trainings.
We will require each person to have their webcam on during the presentations to verify attendance. If there is a technical issue (or lack thereof), please reach out beforehand so we can work something out together.
We are really looking forward to these trainings! I think the virtual format will allow us to do some things we haven’t be able to in the past. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Here are the dates, topics, and times, for each session. Thank you!
